Joe’s career in audio began
with music. He first picked
up a guitar as a kid, learning
chords from his grandmother,
and went on to study music at
The Ohio State University.
Songwriting, performing, and
recording eventually led him
behind the console, where the technical side of sound became as important as the music itself.

After moving to Nashville and pursuing songwriting, Joe continued developing as a recording engineer and producer, writing hundreds of songs and releasing his own music while collaborating with engineers, producers, and musicians across the industry.

That path eventually led to Audible, where Joe spent nearly a decade working across audiobook production, engineering, producing, directing, and post-production. His work ranged from intimate single-narrator recordings to complex full-cast productions, giving him experience on both the creative and technical sides of bringing a story to life.

Today, Joe brings all of those disciplines together in his independent work — combining the instincts of a musician, the precision of an engineer, and the perspective of a producer.
